How to Make a Pom-Pom Garland

Follow this simple tutorial to learn how to make a Pom-Pom Garland, which is the perfect addition to any room!

First off, let's gather our materials. Choose a special color palette, or simply use scraps! There are SO many possibilities, and anything would look cute. However, KnitPicks Brava Minis are such a fun option. I used the colors Dove Heather, Fig, Denim, White, Brindle, and Seraphim.

You will also need sharp scissors, a small pom-pom maker, a size 4.5 mm crochet hook, and a large eye yarn needle.

Once you have gathered your materials, it is time to get started! Make a crochet chain that is as long as your finished garland length.

Don't weave in the ends, but be careful to get this chain tangled as you move through the steps!

Now it is time for the fun part...the Pom-Poms! Make as many or as few as you would like. For this garland, I made 15 poms. Again, I used the smallest (pink) maker, which you can find in this set. Feel free to make larger ones if you would like!

After the poms are complete, it is time to attach them to the chain. Weave the tail of you chain through the yarn needle, then thread through the center of each pom. Carefully space the poms out in a way that appeals to you.

Finally, weave in all your ends, and hang your beautiful garland!
