Midnight Blanket | Free Pattern


If you’re looking for a cozy handmade blanket to snuggle under in the middle of the night, this one is for you. It might take some time to create, but it will be a timeless treasure for years to come!



Materials

  • 12 balls of Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick in the colorway Petrol Blue

  • Size 11 (8.00 mm) 32” circular needles

  • Ruler, scissors, yarn needle

Gauge

2 stitches by 3 rows = 1 inch in pattern


Abbreviations

CO: cast on

k: knit

p: purl

st(s): stitch(es)

*...*: repeat the instructions in the asterisks


Pattern Notes

  • Find the yarn featured in this pattern here.

  • This blanket is worked flat, but circular needles will be used to accommodate the number of stitches.

  • When finished, this blanket measures approximately 50 by 60 inches.

  • To adjust the width, cast on any odd number.

  • To adjust the length, work less/more rows.


Blanket

CO 99 sts

Row 1

k1, *p1, k1* across


Repeat Row 1 until the blanket reaches your desired length.


Bind off all sts in knit, being careful to keep an even gauge.


Finishing

Cut yarn and weave in any ends.
