This little can cozy works up in no time and is so useful! Create a few to have around for guests during any time of the year, or share at shows or fairs!
Materials
25 grams or 50 yards of any cotton yarn. Sample uses WeCrochet Dishie in Inlet
4.00mm crochet hook
Scissors, yarn needle
Stitch marker suitable for working in the round, if desired
Gauge
4.5 sts and 5 rounds = 1 inch in back loop only single crochet in the round
Abbreviations
sc: single crochet
sctblo: single crochet through the back loop only
st(s): stitch(es)
*...*: repeat the instructions in the asterisks

Find the yarn featured in this pattern here.
This cozy is made by working in a spiral, so I suggest adding a removable stitch marker in the first st for each round.
Customize the height of the cozy by working less/more rows as desired.
Cozy
Make a magic ring (or, ch 3 and slip stitch to the first ch to form a ring)
Round 1: ch 1, sc 6 sts into the ring (6 sts)
Round 2: sc 2 in ea st around. (12 sts)
Round 3: *sc in the next st, sc 2 in the next st* around. (18 sts)
Round 4: *sc in ea of the next 2 sts, sc 2 in the next st* around. (24 sts)
Round 5: *sc in ea of the next 3 sts, sc 2 in the next st* around. (30 sts)
Round 6: *sc in ea of the next 4 sts, sc 2 in the next st* around. (36 sts)
Rounds 7-25: sctblo in ea st around.
Finishing
Slst to the next stitch and fo. Weave in any ends and enjoy!
