  • This dishcloth is worked flat, so be sure to turn your work after each row.

  • When finished, this dishcloth measures 7 inches by 7 inches square.

  • To make the dishcloth smaller/larger, simply work less/more increase rows.

Dishcloth

Ch 2

Row 1

hdc 3 sts into the second ch from the hook. (3 sts)

Row 2-14

ch 1 and turn. hdc 2 in the first st, hdc in ea st until one st remains, hdc 2 in the last st. (29 sts)

Rows 16-27

ch 1 and turn. hdc2tog, hdc in ea st until two sts remain, hdc2tog.

Row 28

ch 1 and turn. hdc3tog. (1 st)

Finishing

Pull through the last st, cut yarn, and weave in any ends.

Dishcloths aren’t typically in need of blocking, but feel free to do so. If you chose a 100% yarn, I recommend simply washing these dishcloths in the washer and dryer just like clothes. They will last for years to come!
