Pattern Notes
Find the yarn featured here.
This scrubbie is worked in the round, so keep that in mind as you follow the pattern.
The ch 1/ch 2 at the beginning of each round does NOT count as a stitch.
When finished, these scrubbies measure 3 inches in diameter.
Pattern
Make a magic ring, OR ch 3 and slst to the first st to form a ring.
Round 1
ch 2, dc 10 into the ring. slst to the first st to join. (10 sts)
Round 2
ch 2, dc 2 in ea st around. slst to the first st to join. (20 sts)
Round 3
ch 1, sc in ea st around. slst to the first st to join. (20 sts)
Round 4
ch 1, *sc in ea of the next two sts, sc2tog* around. slst to the first st to join. (15 sts)
Round 5
ch 1, *sc in the next st, sc2tog* around. slst to the first st to join. (10 sts)
Round 6
ch 1, *sc2tog* around. slst to the first st to join. (5 sts)
Finishing
Pull through the last st, cut yarn, and weave in any ends.
The scrubbies won’t need blocking, and I like to throw them in the washer and dryer periodically to clean.
Keep scrubbies for yourself, and gift them to everyone! They are amazing last-minute gifts, especially when paired with a dishcloth.
